For the past 25 years, The Saginaw County Business & Education Partnership (SCBEP) has worked with business, education and community leaders to increase the achievement and employability skills of Saginaw County's youth. Area students benefit by the focused efforts of the Partnership's board members, volunteers and staff's specially designed programs and services that are used by nearly 12,000 eighth through twelfth grade students throughout Saginaw County.

Congratulations to the recipients of the 16th Annual Saginaw County Turn-Around Achievment Award!
The program, being held on Thursday May 17, 2012 at the Candlelite Banquet Center (6817 Dixie Highway in Bridgeport), will honor a student from each junior high school, high school or alternative education program in Saginaw who best demonstrates overall effort, perserverance, and commitment in changing his/her life.
Recipients include two Saginaw ISD Career Link Program student's: Brandon Groulx of Birch Run High School and Jessica Fortier of Heritage High School.

Michigan Walk for Education |

The Saginaw County Business & Education Partnership and Primacivitas are teaming up to host the Michigan Walk for Education.
The American School Health Association has found a significant relationship between physical fitness and academic achievement. The Walk for Education will engage Michigan student and community members and work to encourage a healthy lifestyle. Proceeds will benefit local schools in Bay, Midland and Saginaw counties.
